A Variation of...The Smoky Eye

Colors: Gold, Brown and Soft Pink or Mauve

1. Cover the entire lid (below the crease) with the Gold shadow.
2. On the outside corner of the eye, apply the Brown shadow in a V-shape to start; then blend spreading to about half of the creased portion of the eye.
3. Remember to start with a little and build to desired level of intensity (it is easier to add than to take away.
4. Go back and apply the Gold to the inside half of the eye and slightly blend with darker color to give a more seamless transition between the colors.
5. Lightly dust the entire eye with the 3rd color (Pinkor Mauve).
6. Using a dense shadow brush or q-tip, apply the Brown shade to the outside half of the bottom lid and blend.
7. Apply liner (if desired) and mascara.

When applying mascara…
Be sure to start with the bottom lashes when you have long top lashes in order to avoid getting mascara on the top eyelid—as you might applying it the traditional way.

Helpful Hint…
When doing a dramatic eye, it helps to start with the eyes and then apply the concealer and foundation afterwards to avoid a messy look under the eye.
